Remote Start
Hi,
I would like to install a viper 5901 remote starter on an 08 RX350. I have read the installation instructions from Viper (for the 5901) and XpressKit (for the XK05). From what I can tell, this is a relatively easy install.
I am looking for the vehicle specific wiring diagrams for my vehicle.
Does anyone have experience installing the viper 5901 remote starter, and, can anyone supply me with the wiring diagrams?

Wrong forum for an 08 RX, you should post in the 2nd Generation forum.
I have installed the Viper 5901 in a couple of cars. Its really not difficult if you knowledge around car electronics. Check out http://www.the12volt.com for wiring diagram information. http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/...asp~TID~101886
You will need in addition to the Viper RS a security key immobilizer bypass module. There are various options. Personal favorite is the ones made by Fortin Electronics, but others bypass modules will work. Without this the remote start will not work.
