Non NAV, A/C always off when car started

Non NAV, A/C always off when car started
When I turn the car off each time the A/C is always on. But when I start the car the A/C light is off, I cant seem to get the A/C to be on when I start the car. This is very important for me as I need to defrost the windscreen each morning. I guess I could press the A/C button each time, but it does not make sense to me why it doesnt turn on by itself. If anyone knows how to remedy this, I would appreciate your help.

i thought factory setting is whenever the defrost mode is selected, the A/C is always on as default. Unless you have opt out that option in the Customized Settings when you came in for the 30 day service appointment.
Check with your manual or service advisor and have them fix it. it should help defrost better with a/c on.
