We are planning to buy another 2010 RX 350. Our daughter who just graduated from college will inherit the 2004 RX 330. I liked their performance, gas efficiency, reliability as well as the price as compared to Euro made cars.
One more thing, why is it all car magazines blogs our all against TOYOTA/LEXUS. They are all bout the decline of sales of TOYOTA/LEXUS, but they are not mentioning closure of American car companies. Even NASCAR fans hate TOYOTAS. LOL

Jim, thanks for all the good information. My wife and I first drove the Accura MDX and liked it. We then went across the road to the Lexus dealer and drove the RX. There is no comparison. The RX350 is a much better driving vehicle. We are going to be patient when purchasing, but are pretty sure it will be an RX. We will probably wait for the 2011 to see if Lexus addresses the few issues they have on the 2010. Your are correct that we will get an SUV/crossover. My wife presently has an 04 Envoy fully loaded and previously had the Mercedes ML430 (what a piece of junk it was). Again thanks to you and to others for the information shared.
