Rustling noise from driver side window/door area
I loloed and this is where they insulated, between the door frame and door shell. Noise now only happens on bumpy roads
got my rx back from dealer yesterday. said they added insulation inside the door b/c the noise was coming from window track hitting door panel. less than a mile from dealership, i started hearing noise again
I bought my Japan made 2010 RX AWD with all options about 2 months ago.
I can hear this rustling noise from the drive side door/window area when the road is bumpy (or on any uneven road surface). It sounds like the window is not tightly held in the door panel; so when there's any bump or vibration, the window makes this rustling noise, as if someone is shaking a loose piece of window. It's very annoying.
Have any of you experienced this problem? I'm a little disappointed in Lexus. I still have my 2002 RX300, and it still drives/feels very solid.

Apparently there is a know problem with the brake booster valve rattling whatever that is.
I have inside the top of driver's door near the handle a ticking sound that only occurs when on a bumpy freeway or road. It is very faint but since it's close to my left ear I hear it quite promentently. It could possibly be the window rubbing in the track.
Rattling noise is fixed. There was a "cowell" molding below the windshield wipers that was loose. Noise couldn't be duplicated so I took the service rep with me and sure enough once I hit 60mph there was a loud rattling noise near the windshield. It sounded like the windshield was loose. Happy they fixed it!
