My mom is looking at getting an all weather trunk mat because she plans on having large items that might damage the carpet mat. For those that already have gotten this, do you recommend it, and is it durable?

Weathertech vinyl is the best, I just bought one to go over the one that came with the new 2010 RX350. It has small sides to keep liquids from getting on carpet. Fit perfect.
just over $120 with shipping. Well worth it the money, outlast the SUV.

I just received my new WeatherTech All Weather mats and cargo liner last week. You can't beat them! I had them in my 05 RX also.
