this is my first post in this fantastic group.
I'm from Monza in the north of Italy
My last car was a Mercedes Benz C32 AMG. Very fast with a good handling, but here there are too many speed traps and is very easy to have the licence retired.... so I decided to buy a slow but confortable car.
I have ordered one week ago my new RX 450h and will arrive in ten days. Black with Black interiors with luxury pack.
This is not my first RX. I had the first gen 6 year ago and my father have a GS 430. So I know the quality of Lexus brend.
It's hard to wait 10 days...

Welcome back to our community. The 450h is a great model and every day I drive mine I learn a little more about it. There are so many features standard and optional, it takes a while to grasp everything. The folks here are a great help.

Folks in different countries have somewhat different optional and standard packages. When you have the time, can you share yours ???

Here the RX 450h base cost 83.587 USD AWD (FWD not avaiable)
The first step is Ambassador and cost 91.797 USD
Next is Luxury and cost 100.649 USD

Yes I had to wait more than 3 months for mine to arrive. but it's all worth it.. so far for me!

It's a beautiful area around there. From the Po River all the way up to Lake Como. I especially loved Pavia. It's my favorite part of Italy and the food was absolutely fantastic. We used to go to an area south of Milan where they made the pasta fresh and I've never had better in all my life.

Chevrolet used to sell an Opel Corsa called a Chevy Monza in Mexico that my uncle had for several years. So the name of the town always ringed in my head.

There were some older retired racers I met Hermanos Rodriguez raceway in Mexico City who had raced Monza and mentioned that the old Hermanos Rodriguez reminded them a bit of Monza. In fact, in this wikipedia article, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aut%C3%...Rodr%C3%ADguez

it mentioned, "The circuit has an extremely fast final corner (the peraltada) before a long start/finish straight, and thus reminded some of Monza; however, unlike Monza's parabolica curve, the peraltada curve is slightly banked, allowing even more speed through the corner. "
