My trans seems to be hunting for the right gear every so often. It's been 1400 miles is it still adapting to my driving style? Does the 2010 have adaptive trans? My 2006 IS350 did something similar for the first 200 mile, but not after. The RX seems to be looking for the right gear sometimes like its "caught" between gears not knowing to up shift or down shift. Has anyone else experience this?

 

Yes, I've experienced exactly the same thing. Mine is two days old though, so I'm going to give it a little more time. :-)

 

its adaptive, though if you feel like its not going well (sometimes two drivers confuse the car), you can tell the dealer to reset it.

 

It would make sense if it would allow for multiple drivers, perhaps using the seat memory or key fob in use to tell. I don't believe it does, however.

I don't know, but its starting to **** me off big time! I can seem to drive the car smoothly.

 

It could just be the way the tranny is.
