Hi - I’m so confused as to what light bulbs to buy.
In the attached photo I circled the two lights in blue. Internet search is not helpful - keeps telling me these are brake lights and fog lights, which I do not think is true.

Any help?
Also, buy halogen or LED? Do I have to replace in pairs ?
Just take your vehicle to Lexus dealership [not the service dept] but walk up to the parts and share your VIN and the attached picture [you can even ask the sales person to walk out and identify the non working bulbs], Yes you will pay $5~$7 more, but you will be given [or promise a pick up time in 2 day]. Don't forget to enjoy the treats.
Why do I suggest Lexus parts? You are guaranteed that the fitment will be right and current draw will be right [no warning lights in the dash].
It is your call if you want to preemptively change other bulbs. but there is no reason to do it. Deal with them if and when they go bad. [Delta price difference gets multiplied by 2].
Not fog lights, but tail side markers.

The owner's manual shows 5 watt bulbs for those locations. Bulb number 168 is the proper bulb, 192 will also work.
See page 629 of the owner's manual for bulb specifications.
Sylvania bulbs are good quality, you can buy them online.
The dealer's parts department where I worked issued 192 bulbs for all applications, judged by the shape/size of the bulb, there are several different wattage bulbs used in vehicles.

Many thanks,

I replaced those bulbs with red LED bulbs.
One is a taillight and the rear bumper light is an rear fog-light.
I used 194 size LED for both the lights I believe.

Thanks everyone!
Lots of good information given to me.
I’ll see if the dealership is open tomorrow and they can hook me up. We had this done “cheaply” at a local place and the lights still keep blowing out, so will try real dealership parts.
Looks like I paid cheap and now I will buy twice.
Thanks again.
