I recently replaced my fuel filter and fuel pump but have been having issues with the fuel pressure regulator popping out and thus the vehicle not running due to lack of fuel pressure. I wanted to get others thoughts and experiences with this problem and what was the fix. I ended up using a hose clamp to keep the regulator in place.
Did I loose a part when changing?
Is the old one clogged and thus causing to much pressure with the new pump? I don't want to damage the system and I am going to replace it I just wanted to make sure when I do this the regulator is placed properly.
Any help or advise would be appreciated.
