Mine is on a 93 GS300 with a 2jz engine, but the principle is the same. Look in the top right corner of this pic.. see the steel braided line (-6AN) ? That is going to to the return port on the factory fuel pressure regulator. From there it goes to the side port of your fuel pressure regulator. The bottom port on your new fuel pressure regulator goes back to the hard return line on the car. Think of it this way.. all a FPR is doing is creating a controlled crimp on the fuel return line to increase pressure at the fuel rail. You also need to tee into an existing vacuum line and run that to the port on the guage. It is a reference for the pressure on the internal diaphragm.. especially in boosted applications.

Hope this helps!

A little more info on the car would help, but I will Assume you have a GS430 by your mane and that would meane it was a 98+ model. Your fuel presure regulator is located in the tank. Our cars use a single line fuel system. The las time I did a NOS kit on a IS300 (same fuel setup) I taped the fuel rail and got fuel from there.

Hope that helps

Ben

OOps.. yea I guess I should have asked for more info on the car first. FWIW.. my write-up above is for cars with a "returning" fuel system. You have a "non-returning" fuel system.. meaning there is only one fuel line coming into the engine bay.

You realy need to run a wet system. There is no safe way to run a dry system.

At the fuel rail, .you can cut the line (not recomended) or drill and tap the rail.
