Experience with aftermartket clockspring
Hello,
Has anyone had good experience with an aftermarket clockspring? Any Specific sites or parts for a 2013 RX350 without heated steering wheel? I'm in Canada and the OEM part 843070E070 or 8430748100 are around $1200-$1600.
The replacement from somewhere like clockspringexperts is only $200-$300. I'm tempted to try and see how it goes to save ~$1000.
Thank you

Personally I gauge something like this based on difficulty of the job (do I want to do it again) and safety (does it have the potential for death if it doesn't work). Thats all I got, but..... sometimes people think the clock spring is bad, when it is just dirty and needs a little cleaning.
I've watched a couple youtube videos and it seems a little tricky but doable. I'm assuming if there's a connection issue with the airbag sensor after the install, I'll just get and SRS airbag warning light.
I'll see what ebay has to offer.
