What is the cost difference including shipping if applicable?
What data does the aftermarket supplier provide to prove they have a superior solution and can you trust the claim?
If you have the aftermarket prt in hand can you visually compare for superiority of wire, insulation, crimp, and connector.

There is a historical snafu, where the wire insulation material made it attractive to critters.

Call me chicken, but if the original gave you good service, I would stay with OEM.
