New 2011 RX 450H headlight assemblies look different
I bought replacement headlight assemblies for my 2011 RX 450H and they look different than the original ones? All the new ones I have seen look the same as the ones I bought? Will they fit and function properly? Original New
It appears that your original headlights had the D4S HID bulb option (that is behind the metal disc at the back) and that the replacement headlights are the lower price H11 halogen bulb assemblies. They will not work on your vehicle and you should return them and get the correct HID headlight assemblies.
What is wrong with your old headlight assemblies, or is it just one?
The HID bulbs are much brighter and better than the halogen bulbs. They do get dimmer over time and just replacing the bulbs can restore night visibility back to new car status.

Thanks so much sir! I actually have one HID assembly (passenger side) that was broken by a rock. It’s actually my daughter’s car. I will get the correct part and proceed from there!
