Thank you I would have never guessed it is called a run channel. mine seems to be worn and causes a loud squeak. I have taken the panel off and lubricated all moving parts, checking to see if it is in the track (it is)—however, the window seam to have a lot of movement when pulling it back and forth halfway closed. The window jumps backward when fully closed and activated to open and also jumps forward when activated to close. Not sure if I need to remove the glass to install the run channel. So I am surfing youtube for some advice.
