Cruise Control won't turn on
I apologize for the newbie thing, just forgot my name and password.
The switch to turn on the cruise control has apparently stopped working. Has anyone ever had one of these replaced? Cost?

Hello,
Are you sure the system doesn't work? Maybe it's just light that went out.
Not sure if it's still a thing in newer cars, but you can try shorting Pin Te1 and E1 in the Diagnostics connector under the hood, then counting the flashes of the lights, which will tell you the fault code of the system. If that won't help, you will have to either visit a dealership, or get a Techstream cable to pull up the codes or run self-diagnostics function that will tell which part is to blame in the system.
Hope this helps and best of luck!

Also, plz post up your fuel trims, MAF, engine temp, rpm, and engine load- car at idle and fully warmed up, no accessories or AC or heat running.
There is a chance your Engine ECM is taking a dump but need more info.
Depending on what kind of tool you have, you should have an option called something like Engine Live Data, which shows all the parameters of the engine in current time, it can be very useful to see what the ECU is doing with the engine to determine the flaws it may have.
Cruise Control is not a part of a generic OBD2 protocol, so even if there are fault codes stored in its memory, you will not see them with just any old scan tool, it will require something a bit more advanced, like a Techstream cable mentioned earlier that Toyota technicians use at the dealerships. I have a 2000 ES300 with older communication standards, so I was able to get by with a simple paperclip trick as described above, but since you have a newer car, this trick may not work out for you.

I hope you guys are right and it's the clock spring.
My spare Engine Ecu won't run the cruise control and I don't think it will work if the car is poor running condition either but the clock spring as ya'll suggested sounds easiest for DIY.
The crusie stalk is also suspect, lots involved in the cruise control.
