Default Bank 1 sensor 2 location

This question seems simple, but I have now read different answers.

I have a code P0037 on 2006 RX330. That says it is Heater circuit low Bank 1 sensor 2. If I let the car warm up fully and clear the code it stays off, but comes back on cold startup. So I refigure to just replace the sensor.

So on a RX330 where exactly is the Bank 1 Sensor 2 located at?

And yes I did do a search and read the old threads.

Its basically under the passenger seat footwell, near middle of car, after the cat which is integrated with the exhaust manifold, and before the "Y" junction with bank 2. Bank 1 is firewall side.

I.e., get under car and remove belly pan, it will be touching your nose...

If you did search the older threads properly you'd see that it was indeed where Mesquite said it was. Also, if you REALLY want to know where it is, how about you look for yourself with the Lexus repair manual in hand instead of getting your answers online if you don't trust us. Only the RX300 (3.0 L) has the sensor under the driver's seat, 04+ RX330/350 etc did away with that and it's now located on the y-pipe assembly.

I'll 3rd this.
Mesquite77 would know, he pulled the engine and Mattrx has multiple DIY walkthrus so I know he knows where it's at. lol

Calm down, relax, smiles.

For anyone following along in the future, to find the bank 1 sensor 2 is easy peeasy.

Popped my hood and took this pic for ya'll.
>> Notice the bank 2, sensor 1 is located in the pic below by the orange oil dipstick and can see the wires sticking out- simply follow that exhaust pipe down to the next sensor and you just found bank 2, sensor 2. Next sensor after the Y(towards bank 1) is the Bank 1 sensor 2. Bank 1, sensor 2 was not too bad to remove but bank 1, sensor 1 is much harder to access and has a harness clip behind the intake plenum, not easy or fun.

Braaaaaand new to the forum, guys, thanks for running this. Found er after searching for P0037, and glad I did.

First time I'm working on a Lexus, just wanna confirm location of Bank 1 Sensor 2.

Almost dead center of the 330, arguably the easiest sensor to access, right?

Whereas Bank 2 Sensor 2 is towards the front of the car, under the engine.

Any advice on taking er off and replacing her? Any way to screw it up?

Pic attached. Looking from underneath, towards the rear of the car...

Thank you!

It could be the oxygen sensor or just the wiring... by any chance is your car parked outside and any occurance of mice nearby? they love chewing on wire

*** edit - I psoted this quickly last night but it didn't show until later... had I known the OP was so snarky with thin skin I would have gladly not helped at all. I'd personally be quite happy with his going elsewhere perhaps he can take his attitude with him. Coddling is not something I'll partake in. For the time being I'll keep him on MUTE
