Cool Dashboard Whipping a dead horse

Owners of a 2009 RX350 and inherited the "sticky and reflective dash" issue. Did a "hail Mary" and called LEXUS only to be told that there was no longer any support. What has made this issue worse is that we never received and notification of this program. Now left with trying to find a solution to this issue, especially the reflective surface issue. Also, separate from this the TPMS. Replaced two tire sensors, but still get a low pressure warning light. I have been through the reset process with the same results. Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

I popped for a new instrument panel on my 2008 RX. A Lexus tech I know did the work privately. (I've R&R'ed IPs on my Tacomas, but didn't feel like tackling this one.) Not cheap, but while we were into the instrument panel we also replaced the AC evaporator to solve the "dandruff" problem well known for these years. The combination of the two was money well-spent on a car I'm keeping for the long term. It makes me happy to see that new instrument panel every time I get in the RX.

My original TPMS sensors started crapping out last summer. Thirteen years seems OK life. I didn't replace the tires at the time (they're on the list for before this winter), and breaking/reseating the bead on the 7-8 year old tires has led to one corner with s slow leak. Check your tire pressure at the corners and in the spare to see if you have a legitimate slow leak.

Only replacing two sensors seems like false economy. The other three can't be far behind.

Were the new sensors programmed into the ECU?
