I thought misfiring wouldn’t cause only a 420 code to pop up, but your right the vibrating at idle is reminding me of when my coil went bad on my GS. So reading this live data would be able to tell me if it’s my cat or the coils and exactly which coil it is? Or should I highly consider changing the coils?

I have to go to a mechanic and get this data read. Thank you all for your help.
i too would say consider changing out 1 or more coil packs as if those are starting to go bad they too can cause the vibrating at idle and where the idle wont be smooth. I myself havent had to go through this yet and i hope i dont for a long time but i dunno like a goof the last time i did my plugs i didnt bother doing the coil packs like i probably should have and now im just dreading when and if the cel comes on that it could be the coil packs so yea in the end i would consider swapping them

Well THANK YOU all for your help but I decided to sell the car since I got my asking price. Couldn’t refuse. Now I will find a clean 2011 RX and I’m sure I’ll be back with more questions.

worth mentioning, the trans fluid was a little high and I took some out and the hesitation was pretty much gone. Very weird. Either way I’m done spending money on this car. Off to find a clean 2011!

Appreciate y’all!

That right there is unsportsmanlike conduct, not a part of samurai's path..

Though truth be told, maybe it is for the better, before the car may start giving real issues.. Just make sure not to get something worse than what you already have, considering the current situation on the market..

At any rate, best of luck in your endeavors!

I think I got a great deal considering what everyone else was asking for similar condition. 2010 350 AWD 96k miles. Paid 12k.

That sounds like a dang good price in this market for low miles.

Black on Black looks awesome and a bonus, kinda surprised you got it so cheap.

It’s grey on black but yea I love it. Much better then the 06 rx330 I just had. Feels very similar to the 2017 RX I had. Rides higher and smoother even with worn tires. Can’t imagine how good it will be with new shoes.

I was able to get a good price because there was an accident on the car fax. Minor but it worked for my benefit since it has new headlights, radiator and paint in the front. I actually prefer buying cars with minor damage on car fax especially if it means new parts, since in my experience most cars have had accidents just not reported to Carfax anyway.
