Its a great way to ruin your O2 sensors and ruin your cat convertor! Seriously? Why?

You didn't ruin your engine...Just reduced the life of your O2 sensors. Don't do that anymore.

Don't put SeaFoam in either for the same reason. Burning oil is not good for O2 sensors.

why did you feel the need to have to add it to your car? were you trying to clean something?

if you added it to your crankcase oil and you aren't burning oil, it won't get to your O2 sensors, so you don't need to worry about that... it will just clean any buildup in the sump and should get picked up by your oil filter... i usually put it in my oil a few hundred miles before i do an oil change... if you run the MMO or seafoam thru you PVC/Brake Booster, you will clean out the carbon that sits on top of the cylinder head but risk it contaminating your O2 sensors as it exits the exhaust...

MMO is usually used as a piston soak if you had an engine sitting for a while and the piston rings are seized... or for high oil burners where the top of the pistons are just caked with deposits... but normally before the motor is started, the MMO is siphoned out and the engine is cranked by hand to get out as much fluid and debris from the spark plug holes... that way you prevent any crap from running thru the motor and possibly clog up stuff...
