Default Tilt wheel squeak

Hello all, how do I lubricate the steering wheel tilt. It makes some squeaky noise after you take the key out and going out of tilt.

Thank you in advance.

I had the same noise a few years ago. Have a look at the plastic covers on the steering column. In my case, there was some rubbing going on which caused the squeak each time I removed/inserted the key. Fixed it by loosening the cover screws slightly and readjusting the covers. A five minute job. Hope that works for you. Bob

I'd just bypass it & pull the fuse. I set the s/w all the way out & down & pulled the fuse. No more waiting for the s/w to get to your setting. It'd be great if Toyota added more down & length travel thou....
