Default Telescopic steering problem

2008 RX 400h. The telescopic feature on the steering quit. I hear the motor going but the steering wheel doesn’t go in or out. Anyone else having the same issue ?

The reason why I pulled the fuse for the tilt wheel, my wife & I can get in/out w/ it all the way down & out, regardless of how far forward my wife has the seat.....I don't need this wheel operating as it doesn't have have a lot of travel to begin with. Good luck getting it going.

I use the Up & Down.
In & Out works ok but I find I almost never need it.

on the sc400 the drive cog wears. The fix was to reverse the cog and sometimes pack it with an extra washer.
