Default 2006 RX: Rear Middle Seat

If anyone has any information on how to replace the rear middle seat latch. There is a second screw that is only accessible from the inside of the seat, and I have not figured out how to split the seat and the rear apart.

I don't know if yours is the same as for the 2007-09 RXs, but here is a pdf for the seat assemblies. The rear seat section starts around page 55. Hope it helps.

Could you tell me the part number that you had to order? I recently purchased a 2006 Lexus RX400h and I am missing that same piece. My google-fu is not strong.

I believe this is the part number I had ordered. I would call a local dealership to confirm but that’s what I used and just ordered the part through them.

I broke mine too when I took out the seat. Does anyone know how to access the inside bolt. The outside bolt is easy. How do you take the center cover off? I tried to open the PDF but it won’t open for me.

You will have to have a pdf reader, unfortunately. Once upon a time it was easy but now everything costs something,
