Rx330 transmission pan
Hey all,
This tranny pan has 1/3 or more of its bolts above the frame rail. Looking at it, I’m 50/50 on weather or not it can be done without raising the trans or lowering the frame. Has anyone done it? And if so, can they offer some comforting words haha
thanks

+ 1 on this.
Once the trans is jacked up just a little bit the access to those bolts over the frame are easiest with an offset ratcheting wrench to clear the lip on the pan.
It can be done without the offset but harder of course.
And a 1/4" drive with swivel will make fast work of a few other bolts that are near the frame.
PS- If you loosen the motor mounts all around (qty 4 total) the trans jacks up a little higher/easier but makes more work too so I only jack it a little what I need loosening the front center mount and trans mount.
