I was installing one of those Bluetooth audio adapter boxes and in the process I somehow strained the wiring on the back of the head unit and lost power completely to both the head unit and nav screen. It is Gen5 and the digital clock is also out, but the alarm and airbag lights still come on. Also the seat heaters still work. I checked the fuse box and the one marked "radio" seems ok. Idk if there is a more main fuse I am missing. I don't see any exposed wires. Can anyone advise what to look for? I haven't removed the nav screen but I can somewhat reach behind it and everything seems to be plugged in ok. I removed the Bluetooth box but still don't have power. Also is it safe to drive in this condition? It's been a long day and I hate electrical stuff and I might just give up and bring the car to a mechanic but I wonder if it isn't something simple, if anyone has ideas I would greatly appreciate the help.
I'm sorry but I only have the schematic for the RX330 but I'm hoping the wiring and fuses are similar so plz let me know if this helps.
You need power on B+, IG, and ACC for it to work(3 fuses are involved to do this- see below)
Fuses: CRT, Radio 2, and Gauge No. 1
PS- I don't know where these fuses would be located on your year/model maybe someone knows?
