Yesterday, I had the car jacked up on all four corners and put it in gear to try to diagnose what felt like a wheel bearing issue. No wheel bearing issue, but now the ABS and VSC lights are on.

In the past, and this vehicle and others, I have used a jumper in the OBDii port to reset VSC, no big deal, but that won’t work cause the ABS light is on.

This is absolutely critical that I reset the ABS, because a Lexus dealer is looking at this car Monday and one of the problems is an ABS activation at low speeds. If they can’t document it because the system is inactive, the person i bought it from won’t fix it

I think I remember something an older models about jumping “TC“ and “V1” on the under hood diagnostic port, but there is no under hood diagnostic port on this car

 

Jump TC and CG on DLC3 ( under lower dash)
key ON
pump brake pedal 8x in 5 sec

key off
take jumper out
retart vehicle

jumped as described above
key on and off fast 4 times
jumper out
start
no lights
