In both pics, the car is dirty from a rain the day before. I didn't even clean the new wheels before taking these. But I think it still shows the difference.

Thanks, I just feel the chrome matches the rest of the chrome better on that black color. Some of the other colors, I like the aluminum better. It's a preference thing.

agree completely about the chromes matching the emblems and the grille
I got chastized by some for switching from polished graphites, but to me the chromes were MEANT for the Black Onyx
I also think photos in general tend to show better contrast of alloy - where as the chromes seem too reflective, but in person there's no comparison - the chromes SPARKLE!

I thought about it
I thought about it seriously. I am very familiar with the area. Matter of fact, just got back from there a couple months ago.
BUT, to be honest, I am afraid to go. I have fell in love with the Lexus line since buying one. We absolutely love this RX. I also like the GS model as well. I think it's a beautiful body line. I just went and looked at the link, and saw all the confirmed attendees with the pics of their cars. I would get up there and get the itch so bad that I would want to trade my pick em up for a GS400. I can't afford both, and I really need the truck occasionally, plus, I really like the truck. I may change my mind, but if not, I hope you guys all have a great time. Stay out of Harrah's, you WILL leave with lighter pockets...
