I would go with a new CD player. I installed mine myself. The video mentioned above is a huge help!! Here's another link to it. I also removed the cigarette lighter so that I have 2 ports for charging phones and I also added a USB and 3.5 mm to the seat heater console. The hardest part was putting the resistor in to keep the climate control and NAV put everything else was pretty straightforward. The only other suggestion is to be careful with the bolts when removing the stereo. The bottoms especially are at a down angle. I lost a couple and it took some time fishing them out.
