2008 RX350: Replace Ignition Switch? (Won't Start)
I’d like to know how to proceed to remove everything to get access to the ignition switch. Actually, I don’t know how to take the cover off of the steering wheel that has the buttons that move up and down, it doesn't seem that there is any way to remove the steering wheel cover.
How is the ignition switch replaced?

Ignition switch is not easy to replace, requires the dash to come off. I recall the bolts used need to be destroyed to free the tumbler and cannot be reused.
If you want to take a peak and test the connections, then you need to remove the door sill, kick panel, and lower dash. Unbolting the lower airbag (do not disconnect unless battery is pulled and car is allowed to drain residual voltage) will open a lot of space in the area. Then you can meter and see if it's a loose plug or bad switch. I did a remote start on my 330 so I can help more if needed.
