I have a 04 rx330 that wont start.
Drove my 04 rx330 to get an oil change. when trying to retart the car to leave the shop, car wouldn't start. at first I thought it may be my smart key because it had cracks and was falling apart. but it did work before. Got a new key made and reprogrammed. Still no start. When I turn the key to start I here a low humming sound I think is coming from the starter but no clicks. Battery is good and all other functions with the key work properly. the security light goes off, all lights AC radio and doors work using the new key but it still will not turn over the starter. Any suggestions?

I'd guess your starter motor is trying to spin and can't Humm is usually sign of straining motor. Click is when bendix is trying to engage but can't.
First thing to do is to jump car from a running vehicle. It may take some revving up donor engine to get good strong power going.
If it worked, then you have:
- bad battery
- bad battery connection at the cables
- bad connection at the starter, reducing power supply to it
- hate to presume but, if that all is good, seized engine. Bendix engages but starter can't turn flywheel and strains.
Chipped flywheel tooth will result in loud wrrroooommm from starter and no start.
