I have a 2008 Lexus LS460 and I am having a problem with the key fob or something else more serious. The fob opens and locks the doors but when I go to start the car all of the power comes on like it normally would before the car started but instead I get one loud click under the hood. I am not sure if the starter possibly went out or if it's the battery. I just had the battery replaced about 6 months ago so I am leaning towards the problem being something else.

With the limited description you have described, sounds like the battery to me.

Yep, the click is the solenoid closing but the battery doesn't have the juice to turn the starter. Could also be a bad alternator or starter.

Easiest way to rule out the battery, is to have someone jump start your car. If it starts...battery is dead. If it doesn't, then starter may be bad. Further, if the car starts, then you should make sure the charging system is working properly.
