Isimple/grom installation
Hi! I’m new here! Just purchased a 2007 RX350. Anyone with experience installing an iPhone music hookup to the factory head unit, where did you run the lead to the phone through the dash? I want it to be neat looking, out of the way, but accessible. Thanks to anyone that has a suggestion.

I installed a GROM_BT3 which was quite easy.
The GROM unit is placed in the passenger foot well, out of sight.
Since I'm using bluetooth there are no wires required, other then for charging the phone of course.
I attach my phone using an Anker Unversal Magnetic Car mount, just to the left of the shift lever (there's enough room for my 6s Plus).
The charging cable is run from the cigarette connector on the floor. You hardly see anything, no clutter

I used a GROM USB3 with add-on bluetooth adapter kit alongside a USB/3.5mm socket (3.5 is not used). Swapped out my upper power outlet as I never use it anyways. Most of it is behind the radio except the bluetooth mic which I ran to the map light area and the USB socket.
