Interior Lights Work, but Courtesy Lights Won't Turn On
The courtesy lights on my 2008 RX350 stopped working even though I can still manually push the button to turn these same lights on.
The settings are on "door". Courtesy lights aren't triggered no matter which car door is opened. None of the bulbs are burned out.
This has been driving me crazy. Please help!

Any thoughts or ideas? The issue is still happening and it is becoming super frustrating to deal with now that it gets dark so much earlier in the day.

When the switch on the light is in the DOOR position, the Body ECU is what turns the lights on. It supplies a ground to the light bulb. You could try disconnecting the battery for 5 - 10 minutes to reset the Body ECU. If you do this, you will need to do the re-lean on the power windows and reprogram the radio preset station buttons. You could also try unplugging the wire harness connector from the Body ECU several times to clean the connections. If these things don't work, you have a bad Body ECU or the wire from the Body ECU is broken/cut.

Just wanted to update everyone...
I ended up taking my car to the mechanic after all troubleshooting efforts failed. They ran a new wire and reported that the new wire had no effect. They reconnected the original wire and I paid them for labor, even though the lights still werent working. Two days later, the lights randomly started to work!
On the following day, the driver side control for all 4 windows stopped working. Fortunately, I was able to get the window buttons to start working again after manually rolling the windows up/down two times from the individual doors, and then trying the driver-side controls again. So now, both problems are fixed!
