Default Transmission problem

I have a 2008 lexus rx 350 ...i have a problem a kick between 2nd and 3rd gear when driving at steady gaz pedal ... I went to the garage and they scan it and made the computer indentify the tranmision ..the car worked properly for almost 5 days and the problem came back ..each time they scan it and reload the scan the car work fine for a few days only..whats going on?

I’ve found it to be normal with the 2nd gen RX. Resetting the computer resolves it for a bit, but for me it always comes back in the next few days as the transmission recalibrates itself.

Have you taken your car to a shop to have the ATF drain and fill? A fluid change does wonders to smooth out the transmission.

My 06 RX330 used to jerk or feel like rear end at ~55 km/h but NOT every time, change ATF doesn't work! but after front transfer case and rear differential gear oil changed that jerk rarely happens. so either a software update or a transmission adaptive reset and proper relearn procedures [NOT battery disconnect] after a ATF and gear oil services may works well.
