I did a few years ago myself. Changed all 6 plugs and put everything back together. Car ran horribly! Stalling/codes..... . After diagnosis and doing the job of 3 times to isolate problem, found that 2 of the coilpacks in the rear went bad. No issue whatsoever before. But when I touched them, apparently they didn't like it. I replaced all 3 packs in the back for safety.

I just paid $700 at my local Lexus dealership in Danvers,ma to change ONE coil. I was driving delivering kind of like a mailman lots of stop and go not really recharging battery while driving and car completely failed. Had to have towed to dealership nobody else would touch the hybrid car. 160k miles so ok. But while doing the one coil I asked to do the spark plugs and other coils. Oooh no $700 one coil about $800 more to do the spark plugs not coils and $90 for air filter

Here in palm beach county FL the costs for those OEM coils $128 E and the plugs, iridium $10 e. Labor is $180.

lowest spark plug estimate that i have gotten is from my indy chain shop down the street and yes i did check other places as well. They were still about 600 bucks to change all 6 plugs.
