New here, purchased a used 2007 RX350 with only 35000 miles, car is mint, hence the purchase.
So this generation lacks the turn signals in the side mirrors, and I'd like to add some, brings the vehicle to a more "current styling"
I have researched options, The JDM from a Harrier (sp) not the most straight forward.
Aftermarket mirror housings which I swap my guts and glass to
Aftermarket glass only with LEDs built into the glass.
I'd really appreciate some feed back on experiences with all, which is recommended. I will do the work myself, no stranger to vehicle work.
My concern, after doing a swap of housings, if and when the led portion burns out, are replacements readily available? Did they think about using a readily available part or will complete replacement be required? I like factory parts as replacements are available from multiple sources, and for quite some time.
I understand the mirror housing will be aftermarket, and besides an accident should last the life of the car.
links to specific parts would be appreciated. Best quality too if one is recommended over another.

And you do HAVE turn signal wiring already routed to existing mirrors, right?

Part number 08411-48040-C0 (pair Black pre painted)*** OE shows up as discontinued in numerous searches but I ordered a set of these replacement genuine OE - prepainted LED covers last week direct from a source in Japan for my 2009 RX. 31,000 yen. plus shipping. Still awaiting final confirmation.
They were also sold as singles, left or right If you can find them about 18,000 yen. Part number i belive ends in 41 and 42 insted of 40. Letter code is color code. search # only for best results.
