Default RX330 Master Brake Cylinder Replacement DIY (coming soon) any suggestions prior?

I will be doing a write up on my master cylinder replacement on my 2005 Lexus Rx330.
Right now current symptoms are
Floor sinking to floor (not all the way) but noticeable enough for the car to start rolling a bit at traffic light
Audible squeak when the pedal is released
This is had been going on intermittently.

Any suggestions problems I may encounter while doing this project? Will have pictures when done.
thanks

I think there was a recall for the brake master cylinder failing. You may want to see if you qualify for it before replacing it yourself

Does anyone know about this RX330 master cylinder recall? I have had the suv in for several recalls and this was never mentioned. Being as old as it is with will over 100k, I would not expect them to replace the MC.

I don't know about the recall but I had intermittent brake pedal sinking that drove me crazy and it would come and go and because it was intermittent I ruled out the master cylinder.

In my case I did a lot of things to figure out why my brake pedal was sinking and did a brake fluid flush a couple of times running a few large bottles of new fluid thru the system.
From what it seemed in my case I had 2 things contributing to my problem.
1) Fine debris clogging the valves in my brake actuator, improved quite a bit after the fluid flush but did not cure it but did remoe a ton of trash in the lines.
2) VVT actuators were sticking or not working properly messing with engine timing and vacuum, did a thread on seafoaming the oil and intake and suprisingly this seemed to work along with curing a lifter ticking.
3) also, any leaks at the brake booster hose fitting rubber grommet can cause problems too.
PS- FYI anyone doing a brake fluid flush I recommend refilling the reservoir after every 2 wheels since the reservoir doesn't hold as much as it looks and I ran mine dry and got air in my master cylinder and had to bleed that too and was extra work and I should've been more careful.
PS- I will update in the future if my brake pedal sinking comes back but it has been a few months so far so I'm still learning and trying to figure out how all this fits together
