Aftermarket stereo installation
Recently installed a Pioneer AVH-2800BS with TYTO-1, Maestro steering control and metra kit. When first turning on the car to ACC, the headunit turns on and there is sound from the menu selections/music (Front Speakers don't work for some reason) but once I turn the key to ON there no more sound. If I disconnect the battery again and turn it on to ACC again there will be sound again but everything cuts off again when turning ignition to on.
Checked the wiring and everything seems good, followed instructions from the manual and also this youtube video:
Kinda stumped on what to do next, if anyone can give me some advice that would be great. Kinda hoping that the AMP isn't dead but if it is then will look into getting a used one to replace it

Hello,
First time in this forum, but I have an issue on Aftermarket stereo installation. I have 2008 Lexus RX-350. Recently, I haveInstalled double din ALPINE CDEW265BT and everything looks good except the Environmental control unit (A/C) didn’t work. On the back of the OEM navigation system, it has three different size pins, and one of them is for A/C. The wire harness that I purchased didn’t come with factory navigation and I need some kind of bypass/pin adopter. Currently, the A/C is working simply because I extended wires to back of the trunk and connected with the old OEM nav system… but looks ugly though but this is ONLY the temp solution till I find the part that I am looking for… any comment/suggestion will be appreciated.
Thanks!

I read somewhere in the forum that somebody connected the 12V Ignition Wire (Red) with the Blue/White from the TYTO-1 Blue/White wire and this worked for them. I tried this but the initial turn on of the car there is sound but when I turn it off and turn it back on there is no sound again. So I tried connecting the Blue/White from the HU with Blue/White TYTO harness with the Red wire and looks like there is sound for the initial turn on but when I try to turn off the car the HU and Factory Navigation are still on.
Talked with tech support where I brought the HU from and they suggested that maybe the amplifier is bad and I should replace it

So, the unit works/plays music (minus the front speakers) with the key in the ACC position, but goes dead when the key is switched to the ON position? If so, wouldn't that mean that the amp is working?
If you're certain the wiring is correct, I would look at the TYTO. (Mine had a loose connector, so I'm suspect about the build quality.)
Next guess would be a defective HU, but Pioneer is great brand, so that seems to be an unlikely cause.
