Swap stereo from RX330 to RX350
This is probably an odd question. Does anyone know if it would work to swap the stereo on my non-navigation RX350, with the one from a non-nav RX330? The RX330 has the tape deck, while the non-nav RX350 does not. Both don't have aux inputs anyway.
I'd like to use my phone to play music on the RX, however, since it does not have an aux input or tape deck, it's frustrating trying to make it work thru static with an FM transmitter. Having a tape deck would atleast allow me to use a 3.5mm tape adapter to play music from my phone.

You can swap the head units as long as they are both Mark Levinson or both are non Mark Levinson.
If the systems are not the same, you will also need to swap the amp also.
Also check on how to hook up the speakers since the Mark Levinson stereo has 8 speakers & the non Mark Levinson has only 6 speakers in the vehicle.

Gotcha.
I know I don't have the Mark Levinson system. Right now, my radio is the AP1811 (similar to http://www.cd4car.com/lexus-pioneer-...-ap1811-p1806/)
I was going to replace it with one that is AP6829 (similar to http://www.cd4car.com/2004-2006-lexu...-0e010-ap6829/).
Both have almost similar model numbers, and the same connector layout. Hopefully it should work.

are you sure both units have the same connectors in the back? I don't think it did, because I pondered upon this earlier.
Also, if you want to listen to the music on your phone, get a bluetooth/mp3 unit. They are about ~$75-$100 unit and sound about 48 times better than FM and about 45 times better than cassette.
