Default The battery Light drama

Good morning Lexus family. Had my RX loaded up for a family vacation when I was 10 miles down the road the battery light kicked on, so I had use the backup ISF. My question is is which alternator did you guys use for replacement or should I have the stock 1 rebuilt? My battery is only 6 months old so that's out of the question. It's a 2005RX with 100k for reference. Thanks for any help👍

I would always go for a new or remanufactured Denso. If you can have yours rebuilt at a small shop without swapping for another alternator, I would do it. Many of the shops by me just swap them out so there's no telling if you're getting a rebuilt Denso or not.
