Default Add Bluetooth to 2006 RX 400H Audio System

Hello CL,

I need a little help to indentify Left and outputs and Ground on the cassette player mainboard. I took apart the stereo and wonder if anyone here tell me where the audio outputs so I can connect the bluetooth headphone to the board. below are model number and the Cassette player mainboard.

Thanks,
Yoko.

Wait, you want to connect Bluetooth headphones directly to the audio outputs? Maybe I'm not fully understanding your plans, but I don't think Bluetooth headphones are meant to connect directly like that. You might be better off with something like this:

The point of bluetooth is that it is wireless. You don't wire the headphones to anything. Get an aftermarket bluetooth interface. I'd recommend one that connects to the back of the factory headunit and mimics a CD changer, Sat radio, etc. They are very easy to install -- just don't lose the bolts that secure the headunit. Also, don't overlook prior threads (some recent) as a resource.

Thanks for all replied. I got it to work. I bought this piece of sh_t https://www.walmart.com/ip/USA-SPEC-...RFACE/51502204 for 150 bucks and it will kill my CD player. I just return it today. The sound quality is the same for both my homemade. when I don't connect my mobile devices to the radio, everything works as normal.

I made a connection from the 3 pins show in 5w40 diagram,

Here are some pictures
My Aux input to play on my phone.

Here is my Jlab earbud pro modify bluetooth.

I couldn't find any easy access 5v on the mainboard to power my bluetooth so I use the usb car charger adapter.

These are my parts that I was able to find on my old non-working electronics. The only cost for all this is 28 bucks for headphone.

Welll... Scratching my head here... Like others mentioned.. WIRED IN BT earbuds? What's the point? I am missing something. Why?
Does your head unit have Aux? You buy Knivo BT adapter for some $30, plug it in, connect and there you go - stream your music or use it as hands free phone. Or you simply wanted to power up your earbuds to listen to music via them while playing music off your phone via Aux cable without waking up your kid with loud music?
I mean - it's a lot of effort and handywork instead for them simply being connected to the phone and listening to same music direct?

Let me see if I understand what you're doing here...

You removed the ear buds from the BT receiver and have essentially replaced them with your car speakers by connecting the BT receiver's audio output to the tape player's audio output, thus hijacking the tape player's access to the speakers. So now you can listen to bluetooth audio when you set your stereo to tape mode. Is that correct? If so, if you try to play a tape at the same time, do you hear both audio sources simultaneously?

I like your 5v power supply. I didn't know they sell a power supply that cheap. I did order a few with adjustable voltage for my other home project. Thanks

Would there be a way to mount a USB port to power up say a dash cam from the overhead console power?
