The remote works but when I push the button to close the door it does not work

 

For my car, not sure if this applies to all Gen 2's, the rear door button on the dash requires me to hold it until I hear the door beep. One push will not activate the rear door for me. I've wired my remote start/alarm into the door button and had to increase the pulse time too for the built in trunk function.
