Default 2004 RX330 Slow/poor acceleration

I have a 2004 RX330, Acceleration from a start is slow, almost a bogging. Recently had to seen a Knock Sensor Error, cleared that, keeps coming back, so will replace. But also had to replace battery. Would that have any effect, what could be causing the slow acceleration.

Air, spark, fuel. Check air filter, plugs, and run some good gas and Techron through. That should bring it back. Make sure all fluids are at correct levels and start making some full throttle pulls to blow out carbon deposits.

Have spark plugs been changed? After 118k, after we changed ours, noticed a big difference in both performance and gas mileage

Thanks for the info... I will be doing the plugs when I replace the knock sensors...
Also yesterday I dropped off the RX @ Lexus, to get the dash replaced on a recall. I asked them to take it for a test drive , they said it might be the exhaust being clogged, bad catalytic .... thoughts?

I doubt it's the catalytic converter as that would generally turn on MIL, but anythings possible. I'd start with required maintenance like plugs and filter. Catalytic converters on these are $$$$

I have 05 330. Now has 130K. I had acceleration problems that improved with premium gas. BUT, I recently changed the timing belt and water pump as well as the other kit parts. The acceleration now works like a dream. If you've had it done recently, then try the other things people are recommending But if its not been done yet, start there.

Check and Clean both banks' OCV (oil control valve), or VCT wherever you like to name it, solenoids and its strainers.

Location on 06 RX330 (shoule be the same as 04 RX330 )

Rear bank OCV [big red arrow] and strainer [yellow arrow] location

Regular 8K km oil change interval and at 210K km now, Toyota 90915-YZZD1 filter and dino 5W30, mine one looks pretty good shape.

SORRY FOR THE LONG WRITE UP, PLEASE HELP A BROTHER.

Please i need help,
I have an issue with my Lexus rx330 2004.
The speedometer not rising, its stuck at 0
The vehicle is not driving fast, not speeding i mean when am accelerating, it move slow as if the gear is not auto changing
Noise is coming out from engine as if the vehicle is park
----------------------------------
WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE THE ISSUE OCURED????

I WAS DRIVING AND I ENTERED A POT HOLE, WHICH THE FROM TYRE AT THE DRIVERS SIDE WHEN INTO THE POT HOLE, WHILE THE OTHER PASSENGER TYRE WAS ON SURFACE AND THE BACK TYRE WAS UP.
WATER ENTERED THE DRIVERS SIDE AND LASTED FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STILL ON UNTIL THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OUT.
12 HOURS LATER, I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO CAR WASH, WHILE DRIVING, I TRIED TO LISTEN TO THE ENGINE AND EVERYTHING WAS SOUNDING FINE, NO ISSUE WAS NOTICE WHEN PAYING GOOD ATTENTION.
I DROVE ABOUT 2 MILES BEFORE GETTING TO THE CAR WASH, I LEFT THE VEHICLE THERE WITH NO ISSUE FOR THEM TO DRY UP THE ENTER THAT ENTERED THE VEHICLE, I RETURNED AFTER 12 HOURS TO TAKE THE VEHICLE HOME AND WHEN I TRIED TO TURN IT ON, IT WILL TURN ON AND THEN TURN OFF BACK, I LEFT THE VEHICLE THERE AND RETURNED APART 6 HOURS BECAUSE IT WAS LATE IN THE EVENING, WHEN I RETURN THE FOLLOWING MORNING WITH A MECHANIC, HE CHECKED SOME IN THE ENGINE THAT HAS TO DO WITH FUEL, IF THE FUEL IS SUPPLYING THATS WHAT HE SAID THOUGH, WHILE HE WAS WORKING, I TOLD HIM THAT MY TRACKING HAS BEEN OFF, THAT 6 HOURS AGO, WHEN I LEFT THE VEHICLE, I CALLED THE TRACKING AND IT WAS OFF, SO SAID I SHOULD HAVE TOLD HIM, HE STARTED TRY TO LOCATE THE TRACKER, WHILE I CALL THE TRACKING COMPANY TO GIVE ME THE LOCATION THEY PLACED THE TRACKER, WHEN WE REMOVED THE TRACKER, THE GUY CONNECTED ONE RED WIRE THAT WAS LINKED TO THE TRACKER, AND THE VEHICLE TURNED ON.
NOW WHEN I TRIED TO ACCELERATE, I NOTICE THE ABOVE ISSUES, I TOLD HIM BUT HE COULD NOT DO ANYTHING, I TOOK IT TO ANOTHER MECHANIC WAS THEN TRIED TO REPLACE THE RELAY OR UNIT CONTROL THAT WHAT THEY CALLED IT, BUT WHEN I LOOKED AT IT, ITS A BACK BOX THAT HAS SOME NUMBERS ON IT WITH THE WORD ABS WRITTEN ON IT, HE REPLACE IT AND THE SPEEDOMETER DIDNT RISE, HE FIX BACK MY OWN AND I THEN INSIST THAT HE SHOULD UNDERSTAND THE SOUND COMING OUT OF THE ENGINE, WHEN WE TEST RUNT HE VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE START TO RUN NORMAL, NO NOISE FROM ENGINE, SPEED WAS OK BUT THE SPEEDOMETER STILL DIDNT RISE, I T TOLD HIM I WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO MY TECHNICIAN TO CHECK THE SPEED SENSOR, WHICH WAS CHANGE FEW MONTHS BACK.
BUT BEFORE I LEFT THE PLACE, I DECIDED TO CHANGE THE RADIATOR FROM SINGLE TO DOUBLE, AFTER CHANGING, THE VEHICLE WAS WORK FINE BUT THE SPEEDOMETER WAS NOT READING, AFTER RUNNING FOR ABOUT 3 TO 5 MILES, I NOTICE THE THE RADIATOR HAS A LEAKAGE, AND ONE HOLSE THAT HAS TO DO WITH GEAR OIL ARE LEAKING, SO PARKED AND GOT THE RADIATOR REPLACE AFTER TAKIGN THE ONE I WAS GIVEN BACK TO GET ANOTHER, AFTER THE REPLACEMENT, THE GEAR OIL WAS TOPPED AND I DID A TEST RUN AGAIN, AND THE PROBLEM CAME BACK, THE VEHICLE IS NOT MOVING FAST, THE RPM WHEN GET TO 4 IT BRINGS NOISE FROM THE ENGINE, AND THE SPEEDOMETER IS NOT WORKING.

PLEASE I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT ITS A WIRING ISSUE, I NEED HELP, HOW CAN THIS ISSUE BE DETECTED?
I DID A CHECK WITHD900 VERSION 2014 AND I GOT THIS RESULT
P0306
CYLINDER 6 MISFIRE DETECTED
P0420
CATALYST SYSTEM EFFICIENCY BELOW THRESHOLD BANK 1

THE MECHANIC HERE ARENT DOING ENOUGH, I NEED TO KNOW IF THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ANYONE BEFORE.
SORRY FOR THE LONG WRITE UP, PLEASE HELP A BROTHER.
