Default 2004 RX330 acceleration 15-25 mph problem

Hi
i had my Rx330 since new. First lexus and likely my last...this was not a good purchase or experience. Not ready for a new car but its definitely won't be a Lexus.
My car now has 150K on it but lately I cant seem to accelerate quickly between 15-25, overtime i slow down off an exit or slow down going thru EZ pass tolls without coming to a stop, when accelerating the car seems to lad btw 15-25mph and then once it hit 30ish the acceleration seems to pick up again....

anyone experience this? and what is the problem/solution?

Does it accelerate normal from a stop? Can you tell if the transmission is downshifting (rpm increasing) when it feels sluggish?

Are the spark plug and transmission services up to date? Any warning lights on?

Couple of things. First there is a transmission shift enhancement that can be done electronically at the dealer for your model. I will attach a pdf that explains it below. Have that done and it will improve shifting and lag. Second, if your transmission fluid hasn't been changed, drain and fill your transmission 3 times. On the third time, drop the pan and replace the filter inside. Do it yourself and save some $$. Directions can be found in the DIY sticky at the top of the forum.

There must be more to tell than this current issue for this decision.
I agree with BlackLexRX, I will be doing a Drain & Fill shortly, my transmission shifts fine , no issues, simple maintenance in order to prevent issues.
I have a feeling this was not done by the previous owners & I have presently 139,000 miles on the clock.

no the transmission does not downshift, and its lag up to 30 mph and then upward, no zip or quick acceleration
service is up to date with regular maintaince

While it's understandable for personal experience to have a big impact, be careful assuming broad trends based on a single data point. Any one person can have a bad purchase or experience with any of the brands out there.
