Hey there! I'm hoping you can all weigh in with your expertise. I recently purchased a 2009 RX 350 and have been going over the car. Any idea why someone might have at one time spliced into the driver kick panel harness? The heavy gauge white, blue single banded silver and blue double banded silver at one time had been spliced into - the splices were covered with electrical tape. I only noticed this because the kick panel was loose, so I pulled it off to inspect.

Most likely for an aftermarket alarm or remote start. Just did a Viper remote start on mine and tapped most of my wires in the kickpanel and under the steering column areas.
