Replaced the bank 2 cat with an Eastern Catalytic from rockauto. When it was delivered I inspected probably the worst case of crappy workmanship I have ever seen. The welds looked worse than what I can do. I'm serious. This thing looked like a handful of kids made it in a garage.
I installed it begrudgingly and ran it through its break in cycle. 12000 miles later the pipe from the #6 cylinder (Front driver's side) has a HUGE crack in it adjacent to the first weld. Needless to say I'm pretty pissed off.

 

good to know, did you contact RockAuto and complain, also the manufacturer.......I would that is ridiculous.

 

Working on that today. doing a search one will find several complaints about Eastern Catalytic and their poor quality- mostly in terms of performance and customer service. In my case, it's cheap materials and workmanship. Rockauto and Eastern Catalytic will be getting a copy of this picture:
