If not going with OEM, i've had very good results with both Akebono and Centric Posi-quiet ceramics

I used to go with Akebono, have since moved to powerstop pads. Half the price, better bite, same level as dust and longevity as Akebono

Default PowerStop Evolution

I used the Powerstop Evolution and they have been quiet, no noticeable dust build up, and stops just as good as OEM from dealer.

I use Wagner Thermo-quiet for all my vehicles, even my BMW. They are excellent. Low dust, long lasting.

Akebono makes the oem brakes right? I got myself a pair of Oem brakes that I need to install.

I called up my dealer to day to get an idea how much parts were going to be. The parts guy quoted me 782 dollars for parts and then 300 to do the front and back.

Told him have a nice day and no thanks.

I talked to my cousin who is a mechanic, he swears by Centric Premium rotor with the E-coating and Centric pads. The word on the forums seems to be you can't go wrong with Akebono and Centric.

I tried set of Thermo-Quite Weavers and regret my life with with the Centric Premiums. The braking is awful and I am going to swap those pads out for some Centrics or Akebono. Ill see what will work.

Gonna save a lot of money and just do it myself. Quality matters here fore sure, no cutting corners here.

I normally only use Akebono but will look into Powerstop after reading a couple of these posts.

Many pads choice's out there, main thing is to swap out the old rotors for new one as well & flush out your old brake fluid as well....A great idea would be to change out the oem brake hoses as well, rubber hoses work, or upgrade to SS hoses. http://tirerack.com has SS hoses that work great......
