Default 06 rx400h blinking nav and dash lights

So my wife and I just bought an 06 rx400h and have had it for about a week. Tonight my wife was in the driveway figuring out all the featresia and was trying to listen to a cd that I put in the changer when we got it.it came up with an error on the cd screen and wouldn't do anything until she turned off the car and took the key out. After that it worked for about a minute then as the nav screen was booting up the dash lights and nav screen started to flicker and dI'm and brighten along with all the other dash lights before all going out totally while the gauge cluster stayed on. Again turned the car off and back on and then everything was normal. Has anyone else encountered this issue and what fixed it?

Not sure but the static voltage was 13.9 that's with the motor off. So I'm thinking it is not a engine battery issue. More like a computer issue?

That's what happens when the 12v battery gets low. The 12v battery controls the electronics and it is very VERY small and will not last long in the ACC position. I would suggest buying an Optima Yellowtop battery. They are pricey...about $200...but they make a world of difference. I was always having trouble with my 400h and would even have to jump it semi regularly. Got the Yellowtop and never had another problem.
