help! 2004 rx330 check air conditioner connection
I have a 2004 rx330 and it's recently been acting up. Sometimes the heat and air won't work, there is a noticeable difference in the way the car drives too. I hit climate and it shows check air conditioner connection line and nothing works, it's making for very cold drives to and from work. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions before I break down and go to a garage???

Mileage?
many have reported of damaged a/c lines due to highway debris since the a/c condenser assembly is well exposed and aluminum rails are weak.
I just replaced my radiator due to a slight leak, but i had a feeling after I couldn't get the heat to warm unless it was 84+ anything under and it was cool air.
While replacing my radiator, i accidentally nicked my a/c condenser extremely lightly and it was enough to pierce and expose the freons out. This made the car not be able to get cold. Would be the same if a rock chipped a line.
Do you use pink coolant? If so you can spot leaks easily

its got about 95,000 miles. there are no leaks. we did have a wire that seemed cut that we had to replace last spring. There doesn't seem to be any specific reasoning as to why the heat stops working. Just seems that occasionally when I start the car it doesn't work and then gives me the message to check air conditioner connection. (everything seems to be connected just fine) Usually it will stay messed up for a day and then next day everything will turn on just fine. I think I'm going to have to call a mechanic though, it was a rough drive to work this morning in the snow with no defrost
