Default TPMS seems 'out', light 'on'

Just tonight my tire pressure monitor light lit up on the dashboard. All tires, incl the spare, are fine - perfect (and identical!!) pressure in all. Thus, I believe it is one (or several) of the TPMS sensors that is at fault. It's a 2009 RX350 built in 2008, only 47.5K miles, so the sensors are close to seven-eight years old. Does that sound correct, or is it likely that I am facing another issue such as failure of the receiving unit in the car? How do I check one or the other (without changing the sensors or the receiving unit)?
A Lexus tech had told me about 18 months ago ago (when I changed my tires) that the TPMS sensor batteries were estimated to have a life of ten years. But I am in South Florida, so maybe the heat has shortened their life? Does anyone have experinece in that matter/
Thanks!!

As someone else mentined recently, make sure the TPMS "main/2nd" switch in the passenger footwell didn't get bumped to the "2nd" position.

I had a sensor go out around the six year mark. The rest are still fine at nine years now. (Knock on wood!)

Thanks for the suggestion - I will check it.
How did you identify which sensor went out and which were good?

I'll have to check whether it is covered under the 'platinum' Lexus extended warranty. I doubt it, but easy to find out.
No, the switch is set to 'main' - no change - but the light mysteriously went out this evening. All other things were equal... I assume it will be back.
Thanks for your comments!

They have a scan tool which they use to diagnose each tpms sensor.

Good to know. TKU!
I hope I will not have to ask them to use it.
