Default FRAM CA9360 extra guard rigid panel engine air filter

I have a 2007 Lexus RX and was wondering if any forum members have tried the FRAM CA9360 for their RX. Can you comment about the fit and mpg after installation? Im afraid a non-OEM filter might affect the engine performance but not sure if I should pay the premium at stealership for 2.5x price of the FRAM. (I live in Canada so it doesnt make sense to buy online from USA where shipping is $19.99 for one filter)

I have used those many times on my 2005 in the ten years I owned it. No fit problems. No idea of any mpg differences.

2005 has the 3.3L engine. I wonder if the engine air filter housing are similar...

Anyone with the 3.5L engine used FRAM air filter before?
